First, a question of my own. Has anyone worked out how tiebreaks are broken. I mainly ask since my team just dropped from 1st to 2nd despite winning 8-0.
Secondly, I was thinking about how some teams seem to have insanely bad luck while others have insanely good luck. I have a theory. Every team in a league is RANDOMLY assigned a team ID that's hidden for every team. For the first 17 matches (1st half of the league), the number of away games you get is equal to your team ID minus 1, so if you were team [1], then you would play all 17 of your first matches at home, while if you were team [18] they would all be away. Something simple like the grid below (read down the column before reading across): ![]() From that, it is then automatically shuffled into a fixture lists such that everything works out how the table should. When it comes to the 2nd half, it simply reverses every match (so if you were away before, then you should be at home). It is possibly a little cooked, but it seems to coincide with people's experiences (I think the all-away teams are just inactive)

Look like you could be right, because we were top of the league before the update came out and we have had 10 Home games in a row

it's possible but doubtful imo
my lot finished the old system in 3rd and we've had a good mix of home and away matches it's a fairly simple bit of coding to work out the randomness of all the matches - not something at all complicated - i can't believe there should be any sort of problem with doing that that said, there's an awful lot of comments on the forum about teams getting a run of matches either home or away |

I realised it wasn't first would get every home match, 2nd all bar 1 etc, that's why i explicitly said RANDOMLY assigned. The fact that Tank FC were first before and havent had an away game is a co-incidence, but I suspect they might get the next 7 at home. I think I was 56th in the old system, which would put us 2nd in 2.3, but we've had 9 away games (including the upcoming one) and only 1 home game (which was slightly ironically our closest match yet).

Sadistic Legacy were, at best, 14th or so when the system came out, probably a little lower than that, and we've had 1 home game and 8 away so far.

I'm wondering this as well, my team has had the same points as ZeProjectNova for the entire season and they were top the whole time until when I woke up today, saw we won, looked at the table and we were top, if it helps we were away and I'm not sure about them.

Does anyone know how ties are broken?
Have a look at league 3.7 The strange thing is that if it went on club head-to-heads, we both went to each other's and won 1-2. And we both drew against Clashingdale...

I think its a pity play-offs haven't been implemented. 2nd place seems wasted, even in the top league. Maybe the top teams in league could play top teams in other servers? Soccerstar Champions league of sorts with stars + cash for winners and runners up?

in the event of a tied result, it comes down to which club has the highest number of academies
